Welcome to Cranford House, our quality guest house in Keswick in the beautiful Lake District. This excellent Bed & Breakfast accommodation in our Victorian town house has 4 ensuite double bedrooms, 2 single rooms and many original features.
Our Lake District Bed & Breakfast Accommodation
Cranford House provides Bed & Breakfast accommodation over 6 bedrooms. The Victorian town house is located just outside Keswick and is a short stroll from the shore of Derwentwater. There are a total of 6 bedrooms, 4 of which are en-suite doubles or twins, along with 2 single rooms. All the beds are large, firm and guaranteed not saggy. In the en-suite rooms, the doubles are positively huge. Both the single rooms have their own wash basin, and share a bathroom and 2 toilets. All rooms are centrally heated, have tea and coffee making facilities and a different choice of decor – more Ikea than granny’s house.
We have a selection of breakfast for you to enjoy in our dining room including full English, veggie, continental and Scottish Kippers.

Our Victorian House is in delightful location in Keswick in the Lake District in Cumbria. We are situated only 5 minutes walk from Keswick town centres and a short stroll from the shore of Derwentwater – one of the Lake District’s great lakes – and within easy access of the fells.
We are in the perfect location for walkers, climbers and cyclists and can provide advice, maps and guidebooks.
