Welcome to our Self catering cottage in Cornwall
Our traditional farm workers cottage comprises of two double bedrooms, 1 twin room and a family bathroom upstairs. The twin room is spacious enough for a z-bed if you would like to squeeze another child in.
There is a fully fitted kitchen, oak dining room, sitting room with TV/DVD, wet room with shower/loo/basin, and utility room downstairs.
Outside there is a large garden with BBQ area and patio, table and chairs. The decor is clean and tasteful, offering home from home comfort. Please note that the cottage is semi-detached - my in-laws (the farmers) live there, so there won't be any rowdy parties! The garden is yours alone (they have their own).
The cottage is just a 10 minute walk from the golden sands of Porthcothan Bay on the stunning North coast of Cornwall. There are a wide variety of popular surfing beaches nearby. The village of Padstow is just 5 miles away. There is access to beautiful coastal walks on your doorstep. It is a peaceful rural retreat and a beach lovers heaven.
Across the road is our small family orientated campsite, which offers a play park for children (open all year), as well as a shop, and a bar serving simple pub meals in high season. There is also a pub at the end of the road (The Tredrea), and the village of St Merryn only 5 minutes away has a post office, bakery, pubs, fish and chip shop, surf shop, restaurants, spar store, and garage.
Pets welcome by arrangement. Very steep stairs small children must be supervisied.
