Dairy Cottage is a new addition to our accommodation completed in 2009, and is an inviting architect designed conversion of the milking parlour to the former farm lovingly restored by local Cornish builders and craftsmen.. The cottage offers luxury accommodation and is finished to a high specification offering a contempory look with the emphasis on 'easy living' .
Fresh white walls and wooden beams throughout and oak wooden floors in every room except the bathrooms, the master bedroom is light and airy and is furnished with a pretty antique French wardrobe and chair , old pine bedside tables an Oka headboard, large bed and floor length thick cream cotton curtains with blackout lining. The bedroom boasts a very inviting ensuite bathroom with a wide end bath and fabulous power shower with large rose shower head offset by travertine stone rustic tiles and quality basin and chrome fittings. The twin bedroom has wooden floors and a pair of old wooden pine shutters. Across the corridor and opposite the twin room is a stone floor and wall shower room offering a generous shower cubicle fronted by double doors with fabulous power shower guaranteed to refresh or wake you up as the mood might be!. The combined sitting room and kitchen area is very much decorated with the sea in mind with white walls and two three seater white sofas , a well equipped kitchen with stainless steel fridge/ freezer and pale blue kitchen units with stainless steel handles and light grey slate worktop surfaces, and blue and cream striped roman blinds, and a white Range Master with chrome fittings for those keen on cooking. The cottage is supplied with spotted china and cutlery aswell as quality cookware and pans by Anthony Worrell- Thompson. There is a fireplace for burning real logs so that you can cosy up on a winters evening. Central heating in all main rooms. Bathrooms have heated towel rails.
The cottage has a large forty two inch Samsung flatscreen with Free Sat and Wi-Fi aswell as an i Pod Dock and dvd player and selection of dvds.Several paintings by local Cornish artists. Guests may use our field to walk their dogs . There is a locally made large picnic bench and barbecue in the field for the use of guests staying in Dairy Cottage .Parking in the cottage car park.
The cottage is ideally situated for exploring other parts of Cornwall. Art lovers head to St Ives and the Tate Gallery and catch an exhibition at Penlee House in Penzance. Eden Project, Maritime Museum, Lost Gardens of Heligan, Llanhydrock , Trereice , Pencarrow are all within easy reach. Trevose golf course and clubhouse is only fifteen minutes away . Stunning beaches nearby within a ten minute drive you can be finding that special spot for a picnic at Trevone Bay, Hawkers Cove. Crugmeer, Booby's Bay. Newquay and Newquay Zoo , Dairyland are only twenty minutes away.
