Welcome to our Holiday Cottages in Yorkshire
Sitting high on the hills above Whitby lie Danby & Goathland Cottages, with panoramic views across the North Yorkshire Moors to the West and Whitby and the abbey ruins to the East.
Nearby is a miniature railway, large children's indoor soft play area with laser tag and cafe. Fishing and boating on the River Esk, wonderful walking country and the coastline, including Whitby, Sandsend, Runswick Bay and Robin Hood's Bay.
Both cottages are similar inside, having an open plan ground floor with sitting room with feature stone fireplace, with wood burner effect fire, kitchen and dining area. First floor, 3 bedrooms and bathroom with shower. Danby sleeps 6 with two double beds and the single with 2ft.6" bunk beds. Goathland sleeps 5 with one double, one twin bedded and one single bed.
Outside is a walled patio, providing an enclosed garden for younger children, with seating and a BBQ is provided. The cottages are set in private grounds.
We offer short and long breaks in both cottages and there is plenty to do in the area, be it the beaches, walking, visiting historic sites, Whitby has some lovely restaurants, and of course, there is the famous Magpie Cafe.
Wi-fi is available via BT open zone, charged at standard BT rates. Both cottages have a cot available.
