Welcome to Degembris Cottages, our self catering holiday cottages in Degembris, near Newquay and Truro in Cornwall. These excellent self-catering accommodation cottages are called The Lodge, The Stiddle and Chy-an-oula and sleep up to 2 People, 4 people and 4 people respectively.
Our Cornwall Self Catering Accommodation
The Lodge
The Lodge provides self-catering accommodation for 2 people. Converted in February 2004 to a high standard, yet still retaining that cosy feeling, the Lodge is ideal for couples looking for that little extra! Facing south, this single level holiday cottage enjoys an ideal aspect and the view from the raised courtyard stretches from a grassy meadow to the wooded valley far below. Consisting of three rooms, kitchen/lounge, bathroom and bedroom, this oil fired centrally heated cottage enjoys comfort and warmth all year round.
The Stiddle
The Stiddle provides self-catering accommodation for 4 people. A roomy single storey cottage providing comfort in peaceful surroundings, the cottage consists of three main rooms – a kitchen/lounge, a double bedded room and a twin bedded room. Both bedrooms have en-suite facilities, one with a shower and the other a bathtub/shower and, as with the Lodge, the aspect from the lounge overlooks grassy meadows and woodland.
Chy-an-oula
Chy-an-oula provides self-catering accommodation for 4 people, and as with the other cottages it is finished to a high standard. There are 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 twin, a lounge with TV, Video and DVD, a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with separate bath and shower.
Our Cornwall Bed & Breakfast Accommodation
Degembris Farmhouse is a delightful Grade II listed building, with low beams and seasonal log fires, which nestles in a south facing hillside overlooking a beautiful wooded valley. The Farmhouse also features an unusual slate hung exterior and is surrounded by an attractive garden.
There are 5 bedrooms available, an en-suite family room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed, an en-suite double, and en-suite twin, a 2nd double and a single bedded room. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated with pine furniture and attractively coordinated soft furnishings. Tea/coffee facilities, Television and electric blanket are provided; there is also a hair dryer and alarm/clock/radio in each room
The lounge has a collection of books, indoor games, plus maps and literature on interesting activities in Cornwall, as well as a seasonal log fire to toast your toes on those wintry nights!

Our cottages are in delightful countryside in a quiet and peaceful rural location close to Newquay and Truro in Cornwall. Situated in the very centre of Cornwall, Degembris is ideally situated from which to explore the whole of the county, with the north coast just 5 miles away and the south coast 14 miles. There are a huge range of great visitor attractions and things to do and see in Cornwall, with something to suit the family, as well as golf, fishing and the beautiful coast all close by.
