Welcome to our Holiday Cottage on the Coast of Cornwall
Our cottages are all very well appointed and offer the luxuries of home. With central heating for the colder months and insulation for the summer we have tried to think of everthing you will need to make it a memory not just a holiday.
Dovecote cottage
On the ground floor the open plan kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and grill, hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. The open plan lounge with it’s high vaulted ceiling and exposed beams is furnished to a high standard, creating a warm and homely space. We provide TV, stereo, broadband access, with live web cam link to wildlife camera’s around the farm. The master bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and dressing table, and French doors leading to a veranda. The bathroom has a walk in shower, sink and toilet.
On the second floor there is a twin bedroom with two single beds, a wardrobe and a small chest of drawers.
All the furniture and soft furnishings are co-ordinated throughout.
We have the Secret garden restaurant in the peak weeks and a story teller for the children and our cafe and shop is open from Whitson to September offering things like Roskilly's organic ice cream and hot chocolate with marsh mallows. As we are a working farm there are usually some animals to see and feed, and maybe piglets and lambs. We also have a wildlife hide where you can watch the animals in there natural habitat.
We have breath taking scenery all around us for walking and 3 beaches for all the family to enjoy.
There are also local attractions like the lost gardens of Heligan and the Eden project a short drive away.
We think Treveague farm is a unique place for all the family to have freedom from the hurley burley of every day life.
