Welcome to Driftway Luxury Bed and Breakfast in Norfolk
Driftway Bed and Breakfast was originally built in the 1970s as a farmhouse and has since been extended to offer luxury twin en-suite guest accommodation plus a further double room with adjoining private bathroom to include a corner bath, toilet and shower. A selection of tea and coffee, radio/alarm clock, television and thoughtful extras are provided together with a welcome tray on arrival with home baked cakes. A hearty traditional english breakfast using fresh local produce or a lighter healthier option from fruits to fish is served in the tastefully furnished dining room.
Driftway Bed and Breakfast is situated inland in Aylmerton between Cromer and Sheringham just off the A148. It benefits from glorious rural views, including towards National Trust land. An ideal spot for birdwatching and birds seen from our garden include Buzzard, Red Kite, Common Crane, Hen and Marsh Harriers, Hobby, Ring Ouzel, Grey Partridge, Barn Owl and Little Owl. Whilst good numbers of Goldfinches are seen regularly at our bird feeders.
Aylmerton Church sits on the hillside and is a 15th Century building with a round tower which dates back over 700 years. Guests can step out and enjoy tranquil country walks and one of many pretty beauty spots the "Lions Mouth" which can be found alongside the A148. The National Trust's Felbrigg Park and Hall are also within easy walking distance and Sheringham Park a little further afield. Cyclists will enjoy exploring this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Our Luxury B&B's Location in Aylmerton, Norfolk
Situated near the Norfolk Coast, our B&B is very close to many attractions and things to do and see. In the area there are plenty of opportunities for activities such as walking, climbing, cycling, mountain biking, water sports, horse riding, fishing and golf. There are an abundance of spectacular beaches nearby, where your children can play and you can relax in the sunshine. There are various water sports on offer near our Guest House, for example jet skiing, kite surfing, windsurfing, swimming, and sailing. For the children, there are such places to go and visit as Hunstanton Sea Life Sanctuary, North Norfolk Steam Railway and Snettisham Wildlife Park. Other attractions in the area include Blakeney Point Seals, Blickling Hall, Garden & Park, Castle Rising, Holkham Hall and Houghton Hall.
