Welcome to our Hotel on the Northernmost tip of the Isle of Skye
Originally a Highland shooting lodge Duntulm Castle Hotel dates back to the 1860's, the main house of the lodge has been extended and modernised to provide a total of 28 bedrooms.
Approximately 50 guests can be accommodated in a mixture of twin, double, single and family bedrooms. All bedrooms have tea & coffee making facilities. We also have a number of nice non-ensuite bedrooms with wash hand basin and private bathroom which are available at a significant cost saving.
All the Hotel's public rooms have wonderful views (probably the best in Skye); the dining room with it's spectacular vistas towards the castle and distant outer hebrides islands, the cosy lounge with open fire and picture windows and the bright conservatory.
Our Isle of Skye location
Our hotel is set amongst stunning coastal scenery at the northernmost tip of the Isle of Skye, on the Trotternish Peninsula. The breathtaking view out to sea is across the "Minch" toward the mountains of the Isle of Harris in the Western Isles, which can often be seen clearly sillhouetted on the horizon.
The area boasts one of the most spectacular landscapes to be found in the British Isles. A magnificent mix of mountains, moorland, lochs and sea. Amid the spectacular landscape, from high ridges and cliffs to the coast and seashore, Trotternish has a wealth of flora & fauna to be discovered during your visit.
