Welcome to Edmonston House, our large self catering holiday cottage in Cliftonhill near Kelso in Scotland, situated in a quiet corner of the Scottish Borders with panoramic views over beautiful Borders countryside. This excellent chalet-style farmhouse self-catering accommodation sleeps up to 10 people, and is perfect for Family gatherings and re - unions.
Our Large Scottish Borders Self Catering Accommodation
Edmonston House provides self-catering accommodation for up to 10 people. The cottage is located in Cliftonhill, an organic farm in the River Tweed Valley.
The ground floor has a lounge with open fire and reclining chairs, which extends into a sun room that has panoramic views of the beautiful border countryside. There is also a fully equipped kitchen which is adjacent the dining room with serving hatch between. Also downstairs is a twin bedroom with TV, WC and large shower, as well as a utility room, porch and spacious hall.
Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms - one king size with en-suite bathroom, a second king size, a double and a twin. There is also a second bathroom and an airing cupboard.
Edmonston is surrounded by lawn and a colourful herbaceous border and summer house. There is so much space in the garden and farm you don’t need to leave the place.
Our Holiday Cottage Location near Kelso in the Scottish Borders
Our cottage is in delightful countryside in Cliftonhill near Kelso in the Scottish Borders with commanding views over the Eden and Tweed valleys to the Cheviot Hills in the south and over rolling farmland to Hume Castle perched on the horizon to the north. Cliftonhill is an organic farm in the River Tweed Valley, and is a perfect base for trout and salmon fishing. The Eden Water meanders through the farm and is a haven for wild life and birds, its grassy banks are also perfect for picnics, reading books and relaxing.
