Le Grand Camus is a beautifully renovated light and airy house with its original character maintained in the exposed beams and vaulted ceilings upstairs.
The ground floor living accommodation is spacious and open plan: the kitchen area is packed with modern appliances including a 5 ring range cooker with double oven, the dining area has an extendable table for 6 to 8 and french doors that open onto the terrace leading to the deck and the sitting area boasts 3 comfy sofas around an efficient wood burner, along with TV receiving UK free-to-air programs, DVD player, CD, radio and ipod dock, and a selection of books and traditional board games.
At the rear of the house is a ground floor bedroom with twin beds that can be joined to form a king size double on request and an adjacent shower room with large walk-in shower cubicle, wc and vanity unit, this room also houses the washing machine.
Upstairs on opposite sides of the spacious landing are 2 further bedroom suites each with far reaching views beyond the south-west facing grounds of Le Camus over ancient moorland. There is a twin room with beds that can be converted to a super-king double and an ensuite shower room with walk-in cubicle, wc and vanity unit and finally a magnificent dual aspect master bedroom with a super-king size 4 poster, chandeliers and an ensuite bathroom with bath and separate walk-in shower, wc and vanity unit.
Outside there is plenty of off road parking, a level gravelled terrace area in front of the house leading to an extremely large deck with hardwood dining furniture and BBQ and a lawn with shrub borders, beyond which is a paddock and apple orchard with enclosed borders.
