Welcome to Over Brandelhow cottage (previously called Fellside Cottage), our self-catering holiday cottage in Borrowdale in the Lake District. This excellent self-catering accommodation sleeps up to 6 people and is very pet and dog friendly. Our cottage is the perfect base for a Lakeland family holiday, whether you want to relax on the terrace and admire the view or hike the fells.
Our Lake District Self Catering Accommodation
Over Brandelhow cottage provides self-catering accommodation for up to 6 people. The cottage is perched on the lower slopes of Catbells with stunning views South down the Borrowdale Valley. The ground floor sitting room provides a comfy place to relax with a woodburning stove, flat screen TV and DVD player, and French doors open out on to a large terrace with table and chairs for you to sit and admire the view.
Also on the ground floor is a fully equipped kitchen, a twin bedroom and a double bedroom, all of which enjoy the spectacular views. There is also a family bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle.
The first floor has a twin bedroom with ensuite shower room. A large velux window gives yet another spectacular view down the Borrowdale Valley.
All heating, electricity and bed linen is included and we are of course dog friendly so there is no need to leave them at home.
Our Holiday Cottage Location in the Lake District
Our cottage is in a delightful location high on the slopes of Catbells, overlooking Derwentwater and the beautiful Borrowdale Valley with its stunning mountain scenery, There’s plenty to do and see; the Allerdale Ramble runs along Catbells behind the cottage and takes you either towards Grange and the Borrowdale Valley or towards Portinscale. Walk downhill through the beautiful Manesty Woods to the Lake and catch the ferry to Keswick.
Fellside Cottage is the perfect place for a self catering holiday in this most beautiful part of the Lake District.
