Welcome to Fern Cottage, our Self Catering Holiday Cottage in Chepstow, Wales

Fern Cottage is set in 15 acres of glorious, peaceful countryside with magnificent views, and we are approx 15 minutes from Chepstow and the M48. We have Private woodlands, nature walks, a rambling brook, outside swimming pool, and a children’s play area on site.

Our Self Catering Holiday Cottage’s Accommodation and Features

This cottage sleeps 4 people with 1 double and 1 twin bedroom, and a shared bathroom. The bedrooms are spacious and airy, and have large beds, ample storage space, excellent views and various items of furniture. The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances, and there is a separate lounge/dining room accessed via the bedroom, which has a large dining table and chairs. Patio doors lead onto a private decked balcony. You can sit and relax on the balcony in the evenings and observe the beauty of the grounds, surrounding countryside, valleys and forests.

As well as nature and woodland walks within the grounds, Parsons Grove is ideally situated for exploring. Wales is steeped in History and offers visitors a fascinating glimpse of the past. The Wye and Usk Valleys were the battlegrounds of tribes and nations over the centuries. Roman remains, spectacular Norman castles, Museums, and the opportunity to venture down a disused mine, are amongst the many things to see and visit. The World Heritage site will give you a good insight into the major role Wales played in the Industrial Revolution. So if it's history you want, it's all within easy reach. If a gentle stroll around our fifteen acres of grounds is a little too tame for you there are plenty of opportunities for the more serious walker, and local activities include many cycle routes, horse riding, fishing, golf, diving, canoeing, and a day at Chepstow Races.
