Welcome to our Luxury cottage in Argyll
The Gate Lodge is a beautiful Grade ‘B’ listed detached cottage in the Arts and Craft style. It has three bedrooms, sleeping six people in total within a double and two twin rooms. The double bedroom and bathroom are both situated on the ground floor, in addition to the lounge and spacious dining/kitchen, making it suitable for people with walking difficulties. The two twin rooms, both with feature ‘coomed’ ceilings are on the first floor.
Outside, the surrounding gardens are mainly laid to lawn with woodland borders and with a lovely waterfall and burn flowing down through the trees. Westerly, you will find beautiful sea views towards the islands of Gigha and Jura. The estate itself is set over 4000 acres and incorporates over a mile of beaches (complete with resident seals), farmland, woods and forests, hills, lochs and burns. You are welcome to explore at your leisure and take the opportunity to meet our farm animals and wildlife, but if its rest and relaxation you want, then you can't beat watching the sun dip down into the ocean ebhind the islands of an evening, with perhaps a glass of wine in hand!
