Welcome to our Pet Friendly Holiday Accommodation in Cornwall

Welcome to Halwyn our old Cornish farmstead in Helston in Cornwall. The farmhouse believed to be around 250 years old, is situated in a quiet and secluded valley on the Lizard Peninsula, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We have 3 cosy and comfortable holiday homes and Bed and Breakfast accommodation is available in the farmhouse.

Our Cornwall Holiday Accommodation

Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast

Bed and Breakfast or half board accommodation is available in the farmhouse. We have one double bedroom and one family room on the first floor, both with en-suite bathrooms, and on the ground floor we have an en suite family unit with a double bed and bunk beds. The bathrooms are fitted with a shower cubicle with electric shower, washbasin and WC, and all rooms have a mini fridge, tea/coffee making facilities and colour television/video. There is also a small sitting area off the bedrooms and a door from the sitting area gives direct access to an area of our garden.

The Hayloft

The Hayloft is the upper floor of a beautiful old stone barn and provides self-catering accommodation for 4 to 6 people. The Hayloft overlooks the gardens and has enchanting views over the stream and lake. A balcony entrance leads through to the cosy living room which has colour television and video, and overlooks the garden on two sides. French doors lead out to a decked balcony with table and chairs. The well equipped kitchen provides a fridge, electric cooker, dishwasher and microwave, and the bathroom is fitted with bath, washbasin and WC. There are 2 bedrooms one with a double bed and the other with a double bed and bunks.

The Granary

The Granary is the ground floor of the old barn and provides self-catering accommodation for 4 to 6 people. The Granary overlooks the garden and the lawn leading down to the stream and lake. French windows lead into the comfortable sitting room which has colour television and video. The well equipped kitchen has a fridge, electric cooker and microwave, and the bright bathroom is fitted with bath, washbasin and WC. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and bunks and the other with a double bed.

Courtyard Cottage

Courtyard Cottage is a quaint, cosy cottage, converted from the old piggery, which provides self catering accommodation for 4 to 6 people. Courtyard Cottage has a living room with colour television, video and French doors which lead to an enclosed patio and fenced garden. The kitchen/dining room has a beamed ceiling and exposed granite stone and is fully equipped with a fridge, gas cooker, dishwasher and microwave. There are 3 bedrooms, two of which have double beds and the third has bunks. The bathroom is fitted with a bath with electric shower over, a washbasin and WC.

Halwyn’s facilities include an indoor heated pool, sauna, barbeques, laundry room, video lending library and beautiful grounds. We also welcome well behaved dogs in the cottages and the ground floor bed & breakfast room.
