Welcome to our Self Catering cottage in the Western Isles
Traditional crofters cottage tastefully modernised by sea and loch, ovrlooking famous St.Clements church on the Isle of Harris. Rural, traditional, bright self catering cottage in Rodel (4 Star), White Cottage enjoys an elevated position giving direct loch and sea views. You also see the famous St Clements church from lounge and kitchen. A cosy croft cottage tastefully modernised and well equipped. Our cottage has two bedrooms, both twin rooms, a living room, a full equipped kitchen/ dining area.
Our Western Isles Location
Set amidst peaceful mountain scenery, very tranquil yet only 4 miles from the famous white sandy beaches and golf course and 2 miles from Leverburgh where ferries take you to the Uists Islands for the day or trips round the Sound of Harris. Leverborough is only a couple of miles away and has shops, a restaurant and even a hairdresser !! The ferry leaves from here for daytrips to the Uist Islands and you can spot seals in the Sound of Harris on route. The golden eagle has been reintroduced to Scotland and you can see them from the garden. Rodel is where the Golden Road begins and it will take you all the way to Tarbert on the East Coast of Harris.
