Welcome to our Holiday Cottages in Devon
A selection of holiday bungalows on a small semi-rural site of privately owned bungalows. Surrounded by countryside, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, there are no pubs, clubs or swimming pools on site, just peace and quiet. And yet we are within easy reach of local attractions and towns of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. I believe these bungalows offer fantastic value for money. Handy for beaches, towns, countryside and attractions such as Paignton Zoo or the Steam Railway (you can see the puffs of steam from the bungalows).
Jenny Wren (our own holiday bungalow) sleeps up to 3 people in one double and one single room. The views from the patio are outstanding, looking across the water to Dartmoor in the distance. The accommodation is furnished to provide a real home from home holiday, with 27" LCD TV, leather sofa, tub chair, small dining table and chairs & a window seat. The kitchen is excellently equipped, having been installed last year, complete with double oven and washing machine. The shower room is fully tiled. We use our bungalow ourselves and really love our holidays there. Linen, electricity and towels included.
Bella Piccola has 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 single and is furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The front patio is decked and enclosed, and offers stunning viewsof the Dart.

Dart Vale has been converted to provide one very large double bedroom. The open plan design give this bungalow an especially spacious, airy feel. Again, equipped exceptionally well, with washing machine, tumble dryer, full size fridge freezer, microwave etc. Dart Vale has been really thoughtfully & tastefully decorated and furnished, and every room is a delight. Patio with furniture and River Dart View.

Laura Lee has 2 bedrooms sleeping up to 4 (double and twin). This end bungalow has a patio at the front and further garden space at the side.
All bungalows have their own allocated parking space.
More details on all bungalows can be found on my own website.
Galmpton is a village which is approx 3 miles from Brixham and the bungalows are less than a 10 minute walk to the excellent local pub, The Manor, which serves home made food and welcomes dogs and children. There is also a general store/post office, a butcher and hairdresser in the village. Sainsbury's and Morrisons are under 3 miles.
It is fabulous for walking, whether just for a short stroll or a serious hike!
Greenway House, which was Agatha Christie's holiday home for many years (and the setting for her novel 'Dead Man's Folly) is one mile down the road and is definitely worth visiting. The woodland gardens zig zag down to the river and you are allowed to take your dog in the grounds (on a lead) and in the cafe courtyard so why not have a good walk and stop for an indulgent cream tea or a meal before heading back. . . .
Beaches nearby are Broadsands which is just over 1 mile by car and Elberry Cove. Goodrington sands is 2.7 miles (north beach dog friendly all year). In the summer you can catch the delightful Steam Train from Churston Station which is a 15 minute walk from the bungalow.
The Steam Train is a favourite attraction, which takes you from Paignton to Kingswear, where you hop on a ferry to the delightful and historic naval town of Dartmouth.
