Lochside House sits in an isolated corner of Loch Katrine at Stronachlachar just 150 yards from the
pier where the SS Sir Walter Scott steamer arrives daily during peak season.
This makes an ideal holiday location from which to absorb one of Scotland’s most picturesque areas.
Stronachlachar lies only a short distance from the colourful and welcoming villages of Aberfoyle and
Callander which offer a choice of pubs, restaurants, unique shops and a host of colourful festivals all
year round. To the west lies Inversnaid on the east shore of Loch Lomond where a seasonal ferry provides a
crossing to the west shore. Pubs 4 miles.
