The apartment at Kingfisher House is a beautiful and stylishly furnished place to stay. As a self-catering property it is ideally placed being close to large Waitrose and Morrison's supermarkets whilst also being only a few minutes walk from some of York's finest restaurants including The Blue Bicycle and J. Bakers. From the balcony, the city walls can be seen and, above the treetops, York Minster. The flat is located only yards from the city's historic Walmgate and takes only a mater of minutes on foot to reach the city centre, York Minster and the famous Shambles and other shopping streets. The openplan living area has oak and tile floors and the kitchen is well equipped with fully integrated dishwasher, fridge-freezer, and washer/dryer. There is an efficient Electrolux oven, 4-ring hob and extractor fan and smart dining furniture for 4 including a glass and chrome table. The living area has seating for 7, has a Futon that can convert to a full-size double bed, and a 32 inch flatscreen high-definition TV. The DVD player is also HD-rated. W-Fi broadband is provided at no extra cost if you wish to bring a laptop. The two double bedrooms have very comfortable beds, one has a memory-foam-topped mattress. The bathroom has a full-size bath with Hansgrohe shower over, basin and WC. The apartment has a dedicated parking space, a locked store room for bicycles, and communal gardens.
