- The Isle of Skye, commonly known as Skye, is the largest and most northerly island in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland. In Scottish Gaelic it is commonly referred to as An t-Eilean Sgithanach ("The Winged Isle"). Skye is renowned for its spectacular scenery, vibrant culture and heritage, as well as its abundant wildlife including the Golden Eagle, Sea Eagle, Red Deer and the Otter.
- Glen Elg is the gateway to Skye and has a number of visitor attractions including brochs and a ruined barracks.
- Glomach Falls is one of the highest waterfalls in the United Kingdom
- Lochalsh Woodland Gardens at Balmacara are approximately 3 miles from the Kyle of Lochalsh and provide a variety of walks.
- Plockton provides a number of attractions for visitors including walking, swimming, sea trips, sports, historical sites and nightlife.
- Applecross Peninsula has the highest road and hosts a fine seafood restaurant as well as many other attractions.
- Loch carron is the home of Atterdale House and gardens.
