Welcome to our Luxury Self catering Holiday House near Monferrier in the Franch Pyrenees
This rustic four bedroom property oozes French tradition in terms of the architecture and the interior. Renovated by the owners during 2007 to blend in ‘all mod cons’ with many typical French features to create a fantastic holiday home for themselves and holidaying tenants. The property has wonderfully high beamed ceilings and stone walls, a huge baronial fire place in the lounge and a re-fitted kitchen including a hand built Kitchen Island made from local reclaimed oak.
The entire house has been fully re-wired with English and French power points in each room, full central heating, two wood burning stoves and three bathrooms (one en-suite in the children’s/attic room).
Outside, the gardens have been landscaped and blended with the steep valley contours. A heated swimming pool with large sun deck overlooks the valley and can be used all year round – the pool also benefits from a substantial weight bearing safety cover to provide peace of mind for parents. Below the pool terrace is a two tier timber deck built into a small nut wood – the perfect place for a morning coffee or early evening aperitif.

Our Holiday House is situated in the South West corner of the French Pyrenees at the summit of La Col De La Lauze, approximately 10 minutes drive from the nearest town of Monferrier and one hour fifteen by car from both Carcasonne and Toulouse Airports. Perpignan Airport is just under two hours by car.
