Welcome to our campsite in the croft of Laikenbuie which is situated in a beautiful hidden glen four miles inland from Nairn in the Scottish Highlands. Our Caravan, which sleeps up to 6 people, and campsite overlook a loch surrounded by natural birch woods and meadows full of wild flowers.
Our Scottish Highlands Campsite
With an excellent outlook over the loch our large modern caravan is 33ft by 10ft. Pisces has two bedrooms. It is Tourist Board inspected and very well equipped with a shower and toilet, full size gas cooker, electric fridge, cutlery and crockery, all cooking utensils, cleaning equipment and colour TV.
Pisces has one double bedroom and one with 6ft bunks. The kitchen/living area is large with an attractive wood finish. With the dining area made into a double bed there is sleeping accommodation for six.
The double bed and the bunks have duvets, but please bring your own duvet covers (or top sheet), bottom sheets, pillowcases, towels and tea-towels - unless you want us to provide these at extra cost.
There is now a camp site in the circle of stones and trees for those wanting quiet simple accommodation. The extras include a nearby cold tap, a turf roofed cooking shelter with gas ring, and a hole in the ground!

Our campsite is in the croft of Laikenbuie which is situated in a beautiful hidden glen four miles inland from Nairn in the Scottish Highlands. The caravan overlooks a loch surrounded by natural birch woods and bog meadows full of wild flowers. You can watch roe deer, red squirrels, or glimpse a wild cat, or fox, and we have seen eighty species of bird so it is great area for birdwatchers. We are half an hour’s drive from Inverness and Loch Ness and just ten minutes from the sandy beaches and dolphins of the Moray Firth. There are 14 golf courses within an hour's drive, several castles and the Speyside distilleries whisky trail.
