Laird House, our Luxury pet-friendly Holiday Cottage is a unique house in a beautiful location, surrounded by breathtaking views. This renovated farm dairy retains much of its original character yet incorporates all the advantages of modern living, and is the perfect base for touring the South West Scotland, Cumbria, the Lake District and the Borders. Although our cottage is in a rural location, it is close to many amenities and facilities. Laird House sits in an elevated position with stunning views over Annandale, from the Moffat Hills to the Solway Coast and beyond.
Our Luxury Holiday Cottage’s Accommodation and Features
Our Luxury Holiday Cottage comprises of two bedrooms. The master bedroom is a double bedroom with a King size double bed, ample storage space, is comfortably furnished, and has an en suite shower room with shower, toilet and sink. The family bedroom had a double bed and bunk beds, ample storage space, and is well furnished. There is a family shower room with shower, toilet and sink. There is a large open plan kitchen/living area with television, Freeview, a fully fitted kitchen with all modern appliances, ample seating and great views of the surrounding countryside. There is also a fully heated conservatory, games area, fully enclosed garden and patio area with barbeque and garden furniture. There is also off road parking for two cars.

Our Holiday Cottage’s Location in the South West of Scotland
Ideally located as a base for touring South West Scotland, Cumbria, the Lake District and the Borders you can find us just ten minutes from the main M74 motorway at Lockerbie. Although in a very accessible location, with all the necessary amenities within a five-mile drive, Laird House has a distinctly rural, tranquil feel. There are many opportunities for outdoor activities in the area such as walking, climbing, cycling, mountain biking, fishing, golf and many others.
