This traditional stone farmhouse was completely renovated and refitted to an extremely high standard in 2008. There are modern panel radiators throughout, double glazing and good insulation providing a warm and comfortable holiday home suitable for year round occupation.
The house now boasts a luxury dual aspect master bedroom suite with super-king size 4 poster bed, chandeliers and an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower cubicle, bath, wc, vanity unit and lots of storage.
The 4 remaining bedrooms offer a very flexible range of sleeping options making this house ideal for large families, 2 families or for groups of friends holidaying together. There are 2 first floor bedrooms with twin beds that can be joined to form super king doubles plus another bedroom with a fixed king size double - all have ensuite shower rooms with walk-in cubicles. Additionally there is a ground floor bedroom with 2 more single beds that can be joined to form a king size double and an adjacent shower room - offering ideal accommodation for any guest wishing to avoid stairs.
The living space consists of 2 areas with a total of 5 sofas, 2 woodburners, 2 TVs receiving free-to-air UK programs, CD player, DVD player, ipod dock, a well stocked bookcase and traditional boardgames. There is a large dining table to seat up to 10 and a smaller breakfast table for up to 6, one kitchen with 5 ring range cooker, a second kitchen with a standard size cooker and separate utility room with additional wc.
The entrance and french doors open onto a level terraced area which leads to the enclosed south-west facing grounds which have a large deck with lots of hardwood dining furniture and built-in BBQ, a separate raised patio which has wonderful views across ancient moorland - a lovely place to enjoy a late drink and watch the sun set, a lawned area with flowering shrub borders, a paddock where poppies grow in abundance and an apple orchard. There is plenty of off-road parking.
Sorry we do not accept pets in this property.
