Welcome to Links View Cottage. The holiday cottage offers cosy, very comfortable self catering holiday accommodation for 4 to 5 people in Beadnell Bay, on the coast of Northumberland. The cottage has an open aspect to the rear with wonderful views overlooking Beadnell Bay, sand dunes, fields and the Cheviot Hills.
In summary the holiday accommodation comprises:
· Large Conservatory with stunning views.
· Living/dining room. This spacious comfortable room has a colour TV + digital freeview box, Video, Radio/CD player and adjustable electric convector heating.
· Fully fitted kitchen -very well equipped with electric oven microwave, fridge with small freezer, washer/ dryer, dishwasher, toaster..
· Double Bedroom - standard 4' 6" double bed, fully fitted furniture and is heated with adjustable electric heating. TV/video
· Large twin bedded room with 3 foot size divan beds, and fully fitted furniture. Electric heating. Beautiful uninterupted views over to Beadnell Bay and the Cheviot Hills.
· Bathroom with bath and over-bath electric shower, whb and WC and heated towel rail.

· Outside there is an enclosed paved garden which catches the afternoon sun,
· Adjustable electric heating throughout, with an immersion heater, full double glazing and insulation
· There is Private off street parking for one car. A 2nd car can be parked in he cul-de-sac or car park during quieter weeks

A courtesy tray awaits guests on arrival, and guide books, games, and jigsaws provided. Please note no smoking is allowed in the cottage. Well behaved, house trained dog/dogs are welcome for a charge of £10 per dog.

This house has been presented with so much love and care with everything we needed for a lovely relaxing holiday. I wish I could have stayed for a second week.
Beadnell Village
There are two pubs, both serving bar and restaurant meals, within a five minute walk of the house. Post Office/ general store/ newsagents and a fish and chip shop on the sea front.
The Local Area
The coastline of North Northumberland is well known for its sandy beaches and superb scenery along with its picturesque villages overlooked by magnificent castles.
The historic village of Beadnell lies just a few miles east of the main A1 that links Edinburgh with Newcastle-upon-Tyne, but despite this, it remains off the beaten track and as a result has not been spoilt by over-development.
Just off this stretch of coastline, lie the Farne Islands. Well known by SCUBA divers and naturalists alike, these islands are host to a diverse cross section of marine life and coastal species. Boat trips to the Farnes can be arranged from Seahouses, 2 miles north of Beadnell.
There are interesting market towns in the region. Alnwick with its majestic castle, famous gardens and weekly market is only 12 miles away. Morpeth and Berwick both a scenic 25 mile drive.
A visit to the region would not be complete without a visit to Holy Island. (Tide times can be checked at Seahouses, or ask one of the locals).
