Little Ghyll Cottage is a beautiful fully-equipped holiday cottage in a superb south-facing elevated position in open Lake District countryside. Little Ghyll Cottage has a four star Visit Britain accolade.
The cottage combines a home from home feel with friendly touches, and we welcome children. The cottage location is perfect for all Lake District attractions. The renowned Watermill Inn in Ings village with real ales and exxcellent food is within easy walking distance, and country walks are literally on your doorstep. It is surrounded by a large garden with a peaceful stream, and south facing open views. There is guest parking for one car.
Windermere and Bowness, with all their attractions such as the Beatrix Potter Experience, the Steam Boat Museum, lake cruises and boating, are only 2 to 3 miles away. All other Lake District attractions are within easy driving distance.
Our visitors become friends, returning time and time again, as once you have visited Little Ghyll Cottage you will fall in love with it.
Charming self-contained fully equiped cottage, kitchen-diner with Rayburn (cooking, domestic hot water and central heating), electric cooker, micro-wave, washing machine, tumble dryer, airing rack, etc., large sitting room with plenty of books, games, videos, toys, etc., downstairs toilet, bedroom with super king-size bed, bedroom with three single beds, cot and extra camp bed available, family bathroom with shower, conservatory, large garden and grounds with patio areas and stream. Very children friendly, but sorry no pets and no smoking inside the cottage. Parking area for one car. Visit Britain four star rating.
