We are ideally situated being only a short stroll to the Lake Store, Bars, Restaurants, Lake Steamers, The Beatrix Potter Attraction and Shops. We have parking to the front on the hotel and a car park to the rear.
The Hotel has recenlty been fully refurbished to provide unrivaled levels of charm and comfort for our guests, recognised by being the only establishmenrt in the area to receive the coverted English Tourist Council Silver Award. The Hotel was a former Gentlemens' Resdience built in1851 and converted to a Hotel in 1924. The Hotel retains many of the original features and grandure, add to this a twist of Luxury and a splash of Modern Convenience and you have the perfect stay in the Heart of the Beautiful Lake District.
