Welcome to our Chambre d’hôtes B&B in Brittany
Welcome to the Maison d’Hôtes Joliot-Curie, our guesthouse in Queven near Lorient in Brittany, France. We have five guest bedrooms available, all fully renovated and beautifully decorated.
The guesthouse is located in a house once owned by Joliot-Curie, female Prime Minister of France in 1936. Our bed and breakfast is ideally located between city and the countryside, and is only 6 kms away from the beautiful sandy beaches and the ocean of the Brittany coast.
As well as our guest rooms we also have a flower garden at the back of the house where you can relax and rest after your long day of sightseeing. Breakfast and dinner are served in the garden during the summer. Our kitchen is also at your disposal during your stay to cook fresh food brought back from the local market. A picnic basket is available.
Our Brittany B&B Accommodation
We have 5 guest bedrooms, 2 doubles and 3 family rooms (2 with a double and single bed and one with a double and a cot). Three of the bedrooms have their own TV.
We also have a fully equipped non smoking self catering apartment available for weekly or monthly rental. This has 4 bedrooms and sleeps up to 10 people.
Our Brittany Location
There are many local activities near our bed and breakfast, including Sosselin Castle, the sea and sandy beaches of the Brittany coast (including Guidel, Fort Bloque, and Larmor Plage), golf courses (Quéven and Ploemeur), a Zoo, and many other local attractions and things to do.
