 Wake up to see visiting guinea fowl and bird life in indigenous gardens or whales in the bay and then enjoy a sumptuous home cooked breakfast on the patio (weather permitting).

Hout Bay is rich in beaches (towels supplied), mountain walks and bird life or visit the famous World of Birds or the historic cannons and old fort.  For the more adventurous, you may choose a fishing trip or kayaking to fill your holiday hours,

Just over the ‘nek’ (about 10 minutes drive) is the Constantia wine route offering some of the finest wines in the Cape and only 20 minutes drive will bring you to Table Mountain,  the waterfront or the convention centre.  Take the road over the famed Chapman’s Peak Drive  to Cape Point (45 minutes) and then travel round the peninsula to visit the penguins at Boulders beach.

After a full day, come home for a drink in our cozy pub or sit on your balcony an spot the whales (in season of course) before either heading our for a meal at one of Hout Bay’s many excellent restaurants or enjoying a home cooked seafood platter (served on request) or meal of the day.
