The cottage combines the traditional charm of a thatched 'Black House' dwelling with modern comforts. A curtain box bed and iron stove nestled beneath the cottage's thatched roof. This is complemented with a modern fitted kitched and underfloor heating. The cottage sleeps four people, with one cosy double king sized boxed bed and two single beds up in the gallery area.
The cottage is situated in the small fishing and crofting village of Elgol. Elgol is located on the West side of the Isle of Skye on the Strathaird peninsula.
Down at the shore there is a small harbour where the local fishing boats land the ir catches of lobster, prawns & crabs daily. There is also fantastic views of the Cuillins accross Loch Scavaig.
Boat trips on board the Misty Isle run daily from Elgo Harbour into Loch Coruisk at the foot of the Cuillins.
