Meadpool House is set amidst glorious countryside in the Exmoor National Park. Located in the beautiful Brendon Valley, close to Lynton and Lynmouth, this lovely Edwardian house stands beside the East Lyn river. A warm welcome awaits you. Relax and unwind in the guests' lounge or riverside garden and enjoy a pot of tea or coffee and homemade cake on your arrival.
We offer superior bed and breakfast accommodation, all rooms being well-appointed and enoying lovely countryside views. Breakfast is served in our sunny dining room. A wide choice is always available and vegetarians and coeliacs are easily catered for with other dietary needs accommodated upon request. Our food is freshly prepared, using eggs from our own hens, homemade preserves and local produce whenever possible.
We are ideally situated for exploring Exmoor and the dramatic North Devon coast with a large number of footpaths on our doorstep. Close by is the Doone Valley, made famous by the novel, Lorna Doone. There are several riding establishements nearby enabling you to enjoy the glorious scenery on horseback. It is also possible to hire bicycles locally and angling is catered for, too, as we have fishing rights over a stretch of the East Lyn river, famous for its salmon and trout.
