Mountain View is a family run B&B located 2.5 miles outside Newmarket, Co. Cork. We are ideally situated as a central base for exploring the Cork/Kerry region of Ireland. Packed lunch menu offered & OS maps for hire.
We have 2 spacious en-suite guest rooms; a ground floor double with king-size bed & an upstairs triple (3 single beds). Superb countryside views from both rooms. A fold out guest bed (for children) or travel cot can be incorporated into either room.
Dogs are welcome to stay in your room while you are on the premises, evening dog sitting available. We have a large garden where dogs can be walked on their leads & we are surrounded by quiet country lanes. Within a short drive there are several places where dogs can be walked off lead, in particular several new waymarked looped walking trails & Island Wood in Newmarket (see website for photos).
We offer a superb choice of breakfasts including full Irish & have our own free range hens & 2 beehives, we often have honey for sale. Children are welcome, we provide a free cot & highchair for babies. Vegetarian options/soya/GF products available on request.
No smoking allowed in the guest rooms but smoking is allowed outside the property. Ample off road parking
