Welcome to Muasdale Touring Park
The small touring park is located right beside the Atlantic with unobstructed views of the Atlantic and Isles of Islay, Jura and Gigha. With ferry terminals to Islay, Gigha and Arran close by Muasdale is an ideal location for island hopping.
2010 - New amenities block with large shower, toilets, private wash room, hairdryers and hand-dryers per section (ladies/gents). Washing-up indoor area with two sinks, nice and cosy for those chilly evenings. New chemical toillet and waste water disposal points, lower and easier to use.
Touring Park right beside the beach, just a couple of steps and you are on the soft white sand, wildlife in abundance, (your unit or tent becomes a hide). Children can safely swim and play on the beach, there are rock pools to explore.
There are 10 pitches beside the beach which take either Tourers, Campervans or Tents. Unique location with unobstructed views of the isles of Gigha, Jura or Islay. A bird watchers paradise. Stunning sunsets. Golf courses, Horse Riding, Distilleries and other attractions nearby.
Pitches are approx 28ft (8.5m) wide, there has to be approx 20ft (6m) space between tents. Tents over approx 12ft (3.5m) wide will need 2 pitches to accommodate fire and privacy regulations. Large dome tents may struggle in gusty winds as they tend to have very flimsy poles, stronger poles are advised.
Bonfires may be lit on the beach, please ensure that these are dampened down before retiring and all rubbish cleared. BBQ's may be used on the park provided they are off the ground.
