Muirhouses offers a very relaxing type of accommodation with every comfort assured, from the warm welcome on arrival to the hearty breakfast in the morning.
The bedrooms have either en-suite shower rooms or private bathroom, tea tray complete with home-made short-bread, flat-screen television and fluffy towels and bathrobes.
The house is double-glazed and centrally heated and the guest lounge has an open log fire when the weather is not so good. There is a drying room for those keen walkers and cyclists. WiFi internet access is available in all rooms.
Breakfast is prepared from local produce and the bread, oatcakes and preserves are all made in the Muirhouses kitchen.
There are a few local pubs and restaurants which provide very good evening meals.
We encourage guests to walk on the farm and see the crops, animals and the wildlife. Kirriemuir golf course is right beside the farm and has spectacular views of the Cairngorm mountains.
The Angus Glens and the Cairngorm national park offer visitors beautiful scenery and great choice of walks.The mature gardens at Muirhouses are for the guests to enjoy - there is a barbeque with summer-house and patio area.
Muirhouses is also within 30 minutes of the sandy beaches of the east coast and 90 minutes of both Aberdeen and Edingurgh.

Muirhouses is located on the B955 (raod to Glen Clova & Cairngorm National Park). We are 1 mile north of Kirriemuir on that road.
Muirhouses is the first farm on the right after leaving Kirriemuir with signs to keep you right all the way.
