Welcome to Northfields house, our large luxury holiday house near Chichester, in West Sussex in the south of England. Northfields provides the perfect setting for luxurious flexible self catering holidays, corporate events, private parties or weddings. The house has a range of excellent facilities including an outdoor heated swimming pool, squash court, two grass tennis courts and a croquet lawn.
Northfields House is within easy reach of London, Brighton or Gatwick, and is a beautiful Edwardian country house that provides spacious accommodation with large rooms, splendid stone fireplaces, oak floors and other period features while at the same time retaining the warm cosy feeling of a family country home.
Northfields sleeps up to 28 people and all the principal rooms face south and overlook some magnificent mature trees and a garden which has been extensively landscaped and lovingly cared for. The house is extremely well equipped in every respect down to the smallest detail. It is very easy to turn up and immediately feel as though you are at home. We also have four beautiful grand pianos for your use with prior permission.
The grounds of Northfields consist of well tended lawns, mown paths through the natural wooded area. There are two very well maintained grass tennis courts in the garden, a heated outdoor swimming pool, a BBQ/terrace area on each side of the house with ample seating and a squash court attached to the house with a viewing gallery from the upstairs landing.
The owner, Alasdair lives on-site and is on hand for any emergencies. He is a gifted pianist and is happy to play for guests.
Having been in the same family for nearly half a century, the house and gardens are a reflection of the family's sympathetic conservation of an original Edwardian Country House.
