Old Barn Cottage is a luxury 4 star self catering holiday cottage which sleeps up to 6 guests. Built in the 17th century it retains many of its original Lakeland features, yet provides a warm comfortable ambience in which to relax.
The cottage in this idyllic location in the heart of the southern lakes, just 1 mile from Lake Windermere, offers guests the opportunity to spend time amongst the natural splendours of the National Park and enjoy the peace and tranquillity.
Old Barn Cottage offers ample living space, off road parking and a large mature garden with patio area, where you can enjoy dining al fresco or just taking in the fresh countryside air and views.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with family oak dining table, a large comfortable lounge with a patio door leading to the garden, and a utility/drying room available.
Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms; one with a King sized bed and the other a double bed plus bunk beds, as well as a bathroom with bath and shower.
Old Barn Cottage is in an area rich in cultural heritage and offers many fascinating days out. Whether your interest is in Stately Homes and Topiary Garden, Steam Railways or Wild Life you will find it in the Lake District.
