Welcome to our B&B Gwynedd Wales
Our guest rooms are all on the ground floor and one room has an en-suite wet room, suitable for wheelchair users. The rooms are well heated and each room has its own TV, hospitality tray and en-suite bath or shower room. Individual front doors allow freedom of access, without disturbing other guests, so late arrivals are no problem. It's also ideal for late night dog walks! The four-poster has recently been re-furbished and now has a beautiful new shower room. There is ample parking in the attractive well-lit courtyard.
Our G-scale railway is a major attraction for the guests. Based on the Denver and Rio Grande railroad, there's plenty of cowboys and indians around, not to mention the poor fellow on the gallows (the one who didn't pay his bill...?) The system is digital, and guests can bring along their own trains to run on the track. Depending on the weather, we run the trains after breakfast. Why not come for your birthday? We'll run the birthday train for you (with a few surprises!)
Also after breakfast, our guests like to see the animals - lots of chickens to supply our free-range eggs for breakfast, as well as the llamas, the Welsh Collies, the geese and Zebbie the rabbit.
Our B&B lies mid-way between Porthmadog and Dolgellau, in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park, with views of mountains on every side. We are ideally situated for tourist attractions, walkers, cyclists and photographers. We are only 5 minutes drive from Coed y Brenin mountain bike centre where the more active can have a go at lots of activities and the less active can stroll through the forest or have a cup of coffee on the terrace.
