The Onich Hotel Lochside Gardens is a family run hotel situated in the beautiful Scottish West Highlands. We are situated in a superb location on the shores of Loch Linnhe, on the west coast of the Scottish Highlands. The Hotel is situated 12 miles south of Fort William, 32 miles north of Oban and just 5 miles from Glencoe.

We offer single, double or triple rooms and cots are available free of charge for babies and small children. Guests with well-behaved dogs are also welcome. Most bedrooms have views over the loch and gardens and our superior rooms benefit from a balcony, perfect for relaxing with a glass of your favourite tipple whilst enjoying our famous sunsets and the heady fragrances rising from the gardens below. You may think that Glencoe a mere twenty minutes away to the South has to an extent reaped some reward for Fort William’s success. However in actual fact Glencoe has many outstanding outdoor activities of its own to offer. However, Fort William and Glencoe is not just for the adventure seekers, the area is steeped in history, the events of which have had a major impact on the national and international scene, whether it was the Massacre of Glencoe in 1691 or in more recent times when troops from all over the Highlands and islands were billeted and trained in Achnacarry before being sent to fight in the two World Wars.
