Pickney House is a charming Tudor style property situated close to the beach in one of Aldeburgh's premier addresses which is in a quiet position overlooking the seafront and unique town. Set back from the High Street, Pickney House is ideally located for a fun family seaside holiday or get together with friends. Superbly equipped and recently refurbished, this cosy and comfortable house offers good accommodation on three levels.

There is a delightful living room with feature fireplace and SKY TV with DVD/video player, a charming kitchen/dining room with large pine table for group meals and private garden with patio furniture and BBQ for al fresco dining. All the character and charm of this enchanting house has been retained as has the name 'Pickney' which is Caribbean slang for happy children! On the first floor; one twin bedded room, one double room and one bedroom with bunk beds and family bathroom. Second floor; one triple bedroom (1 double and 1 single bed), one single bedroom, one twin bedroom and separate shower room.

Our cottage is just a short walk from the beach and High Street, where you will find an eclectic mix of shops, high quality restaurants, traditional public houses, art galleries, independent cinema and even an award winning fish and chip shop. Aldeburgh is located in the picturesque East Suffolk Heritage Coast. Aldeburgh appeals to all age groups, there is a thriving sailing community, two local golf courses, tennis courts and a cookery school as well as the popular Aldeburgh Carnival held every year in August.
