Welcome to Plum Braes Barn
Wonderful holiday cottageS with flexible accommodation for between 2 and 20 people, The cottages are located near Kelso, in the Scottish Borders, ideal for exploring Scotland, including Edinburgh.
Plum Braes Barn includes - Plum Tree which sleeps 2 people, Garden Bank which sleeps 4, and Cockle Kitty which sleeps 4. Each can be rented seperately or as a whole. Edmondston House sleeps 6-10 + 4. There are discounts offered for 6 or 8 sharing.
All rooms are furnished to the same extremely comfortable standard. All have central heating wood burners and an open fire. Views are wonderful. Peace and quiet is a treat with only the resident Barn owl to disturb you.
Plum Tree has spiral stairs winding through the beams to the bed room and balcony. Garden Bank and Cockle Kitty are on ground level.
As well as providing excellent self catering holiday accommodation the cottage also has superb facilities, including an all weather tennis court.
Edmonston House offers chalet-style farmhouse self catering accommodation near Kelso in the Scottish Borders with commanding views over the Eden and Tweed valleys to the Cheviot Hills in the south and over rolling farmland to Hume Castle perched on the horizon to the north. There is so much space in the garden and farm you don’t need to leave the place! It has 5 bed rooms.
Edmonston is surrounded by lawn and a colourful herbaceous border and summer house.
Tennis court, Table tennis, satellite TV, CD/DVD radio, and barbecue.
Our cottages are surrounded by beautiful countryside, peace and quiet and steeped in history. There are lots of activities such as trout fishing and salmon fishing on the River Tweed, cycling on the Tweed cycle way and the many quiet country roads, golf with freedom of the fairways, Kelso races, walking the Abbey walk, southern upland way, coastal walks and tennis. The Northumberland coast is half an hours drive and Alnwick Castle where Harry Potter was filmed and Alnwick Gardens and the Tree house are well worth exploring.
