Welcome to our Campsite in the Dordogne
We are a small friendly, family run campsite, which offers 8 - 10 emplacements for caravans and tent; we also have 3 Gites on site for letting.
Peace, tranquillity plus stunning scenery all set in the heart of the Dordogne.
You can be as laid back or energetic, as you like, either lounging round the swimming pool or making full use of the tennis court.
An ideal place to catch up on your reading, do a spot of fishing, play boules, or even have a go at sketching. Pont de Fournil is certainly an "artist’s dream".
Shower block facilities:
We have 2 complete shower rooms, each with: 1 shower, 1 basin and 1 toilet. There are a further 2 individual showers and 3 individual toilets. All the facilities have lockable doors.
There is a utility room with 2 sinks, a washing machine, fridge/freezer and variious books, games and information leaflets etc.
Gite Accommodation
There are 3 gites on site:
The squirrel sleeps 4-5 people and overlooks the lake.
The Squirrel has two bedrooms one with a double bed and one with bunk beds.Shower, toilet and hand basin. Open plan lounge with sofa bed, dining table & chairs, kitchenette with fridge, gas oven and crockery etc. Gite has an outside terrace with patio furniture for “al-fresco” dining.
The Dormouse and the Hedgehog both sleep 2/3 people and over look the lake. Dormouse and Hedgehog are one bedroom gites with a double bed. Shower, toilet and hand basin. Open plan kitchenette, dinner and lounge with a sofa bed. Outside terrace with patio furniture for " al-fresco" dining.
All bed linen, gas, water, and elec are included ( we do not supply towels ).
As well as a 3 acre private flyfishing Lake Pont de Fournil also has its own private stretch of riverbank, (River Isle) which flows around the grounds.
