Poplars of Pitlochry is a Victorian Bed and Breakfast Guest House built in the 1860's. Set in extensive grounds on an elevated position, The Poplars enjoys south facing stunning views overlooking the town of Pitlochry and the Vale of Atholl and within a short walk of the town centre. Pitlochry, known as The Gateway to the Highlands in central Scotland is a popular destination town so that the visitor can visit Queen's View, Loch Tummell, Loch Rannoch, Loch Tay, Blair Castle and Balmoral within a short period of driving.

Our Guest House Accommodation
Our B&B well decorated and furnished, and is homely and airy. All rooms are double rooms, and have en suite bathrooms with toilet, sink and shower. The rooms are very big, and have all necessary items if furniture included. They also have a hairdryer, television, alarm clocks, a range of toiletries and towels, and come with a hospitality tray with biscuits, tea, coffee and a decanter of fresh Highland Water. There is a dining room where we serve a traditional Scottish breakfast, or a continental breakfast, every morning. There is a drawing room where the guests can sit communally and socialise with the other guests, or find peace and quiet to read a book. There is also ample seating in our grounds where guests can relax in the sun and relax in the grounds after a day away and enjoy the wildlife around.
For walkers and cyclists - drying facilities and secure lock ups are available.

Pitlochry is a beautiful little town in Perthshire, in central Scotland, bustling with activity, and is very friendly. This little Scottish highland town is in an outstandingly beautiful area of Scotland. Poplars of Pitlochry is within easy walking distance of Pitlochry Festival Theatre, The Salmon Fish Ladder, Pitlochry Train Station and many fine restaurants.

Directions
Travelling North on the A9
On the A9, Take the slip road indicating... Pitlochry Tourist Attractions and on entering the Town under the railway bridge pass the Atholl Palace sign. Take the right hand turn at the Scout Hut into East Moulin Road. The sign for Poplars of Pitlochry approx 150 metres is on the left hand side. Turn in to the facility of the large car park.
Travelling South on the A9
Take the slip road indicating Pitlochry. At the junction turn left. Continue through to the far end of the town. On passing Arcasaig Hotel take first left into East Moulin Road
Travelling from Kirkmichael A924
After the Moulin Hotel turn left into East Moulin Road . Stay on East Moulin Road and the sign for Poplars of Pitlochry will be seen on the right hand side after approx one mile. Turn in to the facility of the large car park.
Rail:
Direct link through London / Glasgow / Edinburgh and all main rail stations. Poplars of Pitlochry is five minutes from the local Train station. Courtesy car is available to help
with your luggage.
Coach:
Excellent network of National Express and Citylink coaches linking Pitlochry with every city and major town in Britain . The sign for Poplars of Pitlochry approx 150 metres is on the left hand side. Turn in to the facility of the large car park.
Car:
Accessible roads network. From Glasgow, Edinburgh or the South, take the M90/A9 Pitlochry is signposted.
Plane: Edinburgh and Glasgow are only 80 and 90 minutes approx by car or coachAirport
