Welcome to Quarry Cottages, our three purpose built self catering holiday cottages in Ballachulish, near Glencoe in the Scottish Highlands. These excellent self-catering cottages sleep up to 4 people each, and enjoy open views across the Shinty Park and are set with a stunning mountain backdrop of Ben Vhair.
Our Highlands Self Catering Accommodation
Quarry Cottages are three purpose built cottages ideally located in Ballachulish village offering excellent holiday accommodation in a great location. Each of the properties provides self-catering accommodation for 4 people and are tastefully decorated, comfortably furnished, centrally heated and double-glazed.
All three properties have a large open plan lounge/dining area with adjacent kitchen on the ground floor. The lounge/dining areas have comfortable seating, a TV with Video and DVD players, Radio/CD Player and dining tables with seating for 6. The kitchens are modern and fully equipped with cooker, fridge, microwave, washer/dryer and dishwasher. The first floors all have two bedrooms and a bathroom with shower over the bath. Cottage 1 has a double bed room and a twin bedroom and Cottage 2 and Cottage 3 have two twin bedrooms.
All 3 cottages have ample parking and a spacious entrance porch with plenty of hanging and storage space for outdoor gear and a dehumidifier to help dry it on those wet days.

Quarry Cottages are situated in a convenient and attractive location in the Highland village of Ballachulish, near Glencoe in the Scottish Highlands. With a stunning mountain backdrop and views of the Callart Hills across the shinty pitch to the front.
There’s close and easy access to all village amenities, including a local Co-op, pub, restaurant, children’s' play park, visitor centre and coffee shop. Glencoe is just 2 miles away, and Fort William and Oban are both within easy reach.
Walks begin on the doorstep, with a loop through local woodlands and the abandoned slate quarry, which was once famous across the Empire, and from which the cottages draw their name. Please see our website for further details on the walks and other available activities.
