Ravensprings is a gorgeous, Victorian Mansion House built for the Mayor of Brighouse. The comfortable accommodation easily sleeps 16 guests + Cot Enjoying a Tranquil residential location yet only 15 minutes from the stunning scenary of the Moors and Dales the House has all the convenience of a small town on the doorstep. Only 15 minutes from Leeds City Centre 2 miles from the M62 and 12 minutes from the M1 with excellent transport links both nationally and Internationally via Leeds/Bradford and Manchester Airports the easy access means that the house is ideal for visitors from abroad. It's central location makes Ravensprings a great holiday home for Families, Friends and Groups for Holidays, Touring, Get Togethers and Celebrations.
The 4 star accommodation includes a superb, huge sitting room with comfortable seating for 16 guests with open fire, ornate beams and mahogany panelling from the Victorian Liner the Mauretania, as well as 6 boutique style bedrooms, 4 bathrooms (2 ensuite), an elegant dining room seating for 18 + high chair. The period kitchen has all mod cons and there is a utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer.
Outside is off road parking for up to 4 vehicles and ample on road parking in this quiet location. The garden has a barbeque area, seating and is safely enclosed for children playing on the swings and trampoline.
Locally there are many excellent gastro pubs, and restaurants with something for every appetite within a short drive from the house. International Cuisines include; Greek, Chinese, Mongolian, Chinese, Benghalese, Thai, Indian, Asian, Italian and every fast food imaginable.
There are numerous local sports and activities including Golf, Riding, Hiking, Climbing, Mountain Biking, Off-Roading, Paint-balling, archery to mention a few. Nearby there are many places to visit including Haworth home of the Bronte's, Yorkshire Sculpture Park, Mining Museum (send the children down a mine), canal boat hire and rides, The World Heritage Site of Salts Mill at Saltaire, Leeds Armoury, Eureka Children's Science Museum, Shibden Hall etc. A good day out should include a visit to York Minster, Harrogate and its Spa, Harewood House, Chatsworth House, Leeds to shop till you drop and numerous other places of interest and amusement.

· An Elegant Dining Room with Parkland Views, with 2 tables, one seating up to 12 and the other seating 6, providing total seating for 18 people.

Long Weekends November - April outside of school holidays £875. Weekly £1025.
October Half Term : £1375pw, February Half Term ; £1225pw, Easter Holidays : £1450 p.w., April Bank Holiday weekend £1275, Whitsun Week £1550 or Extra long weekend is £1450. Summer Holidays £1675 long weekends: £1325.
Outside of School Hols: April & May : £1125 pw or £975 wkend, June £1225 pw or £1025wk/end; July first two weeks: £1350pw; £1075 long weekend.
The holiday home is in Brighouse, in West Yorkshire. It is ideally placed, being only 2 miles from the M62. 12 mins from the M1. Ravensprings is one mile from Brighouse train station with direct line to Leeds and Manchester. There is also a bus station and local minicabs. The International Airports of Manchester and Leeds Bradford are around 30 mins from the House.
Its' easy access and central location makes it the ideal place to explore the three counties of Yorkshire, Derbyshire and Lancashire and the Lake District. Ravensprings is only a short 15mins drive from the Yorkshire Dales at Holmfirth and North York Moors with their fabulous scenery and miles of walking, riding, cycling etc.
There are many other attractions for all ages nearby including the quaint cobbled village of Haworth Bronte Country, Gorgeous dales and walking country around Holmfirth (setting for Last of the Summer Wine) 15mins drive, as well as 7 golf courses within 7 miles, Harewood House, Bolton Abbey, the Sculpture Park, York Minster all easily accessible excellent days out. Saltaire World Heritage site, Bradford Theatre and Art Centre, Leeds City Centre is just bursting with life and Entertainment and only 15mins away, visit Eureka childrens Science museum, petting farms, activity centre. Go down a mine at the British Mining Museum, cruise or cycle along the canals, ride across the moors on horseback. The list is endless.
