Ravensprings is a large, detached corner house set in a quiet residential location. Built for the Mayor of Brighouse, West Yorkshire, in 1896, the holiday house is full of character and original features. It now provides excellent large 4 star self catering holiday accommodation for 16 people. Its central location makes it the ideal place for large Family Holidays, reunions, and large group get-togethers.  The holiday home is only 10 minutes drive from glorious walking country and 20 minutes drive into Leeds City Centre.  There is just so much to do and see and it's a fantastically comfortable base to come back to after a day exploring Yorkshire.

Ravensprings sleeps from 14 to 16 people with comfort and style in 6 bedrooms. In summary this large self-catering accommodation includes:

Ground Floor

·         A period Entrance Hall and a stunning 34'x16' Sitting Room, with beams, Open Fire, and unique Panelling from Mauretania.

·         A fully equipped kitchen with all the modern conveniences including a range cooker and dishwasher.

·         A Breakfast Area with a large table seating 10 people.

·         A Utility Room with washing machine, tumble drier, ironing board etc.

·         A downstairs cloakroom with WC and wash had basin.

·         An Elegant Dining Room with Parkland Views, with 2 tables, one seating up to 12 and the other seating 6, providing total seating for 18 people.

1^St Floor

·         Double Bedroom 1 with King Sized 4 poster bed and antique maple and walnut suite, with an En suite luxury bathroom with double ended French bath and power shower.

·         Double Bedroom 2, with Super King Sized Bed and en suite shower room.

·         Double Bedroom 3 with an antique Oak French Bed and antique oak arts and crafts suite.

·         Double Bedroom 4 with antique wrought Iron Bed and satin wood suite and a vanity basin.

·         Family Bathroom 1 with power shower, 6ft bath, double basin, bidet, WC

2^nd Floor

·         Huge Family Bedroom 5 with lovely views, a round super King Bed and 2 Divan guest beds – ideal for children sleeping 6 at least.

·         Double Bedroom 6 with King Sized Bed, antique maple and walnut suite, antique Crib and super views.

·         Pretty Family Bathroom 2, with Scottish Antique Bath.

Short Breaks and Prices for our Large Holiday House in Yorkshire

Prices start from £725 - £1175 for a long weekend, going to £925 - £1550 for a full week booking. The price of Christmas and New Year are £2650 per week. Please note that all prices are inclusive of Linen, Central Heating, Sky TV, BT Broadband and Booking Cancellation Insurance. Towels can be hired for an additional cost. Our Location in West Yorkshire

The holiday home is in Brighouse, in West Yorkshire. It is ideally placed, being only 2 miles from the M62. The house occupies a commanding position and is ideal for family reunions, large group, celebrations and touring holidays.

Its' easy access and central location makes it the ideal place to explore Yorkshire. Ravensprings is  only a short drive from the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors with their fabulous scenery and miles of walking, riding, cycling etc.

There are many other attractions nearby including the quaint cobbled village of Haworth Bronte Country, Gorgeous dales and walking country around Holmfirth (setting for Last of the Summer Wine) 15mins drive,  as well as 7 golf courses within 7 miles, Harewood House, Bolton Abbey, the Sculpture Park, York Minster all easily accessible excellent days out.  Saltaire World Heritage site, Bradford Theatre and Art Centre, Leeds City Centre is just bursting with life and Entertainment only 15mins away, Go down a mine at the British Mining Museum, cruise or cycle along the canals, ride across the moors on horseback.  Visit the East Coast one day and the West Coast the next!! both within a 90min drive and well worth comparing - you are literally spoiled for choice with plenty to occupy the whole family,

Locally there are numerous restaurants, characterful country pubs with excellent menus, bars, nightclubs, art galleries and theatres. Ravensprings is only 20 minutes from Leeds City Centre by car, and 45 minutes from Manchester City Centre.
