Both cottages are self catering and equipped to a very high standard and situated on a private working farm with Suffolk horses and many other animals for children to see. The farm is often worked with the horses. Well behaved dogs are welcome. A travel cot (no bedding supplied) and high chair are available. Nuthatch Cottage has two ground floor double rooms ensuite (one with a four poster bed) plus a sofa bed in the sitting room and a childs camp bed in a galleried play area. Jenny Wren Cottage has two ground floor double rooms and a galleried twin room with its own sitting room and TV. Prices include VAT, bed linen, towels, heating, lighting and use of a Hot Spa Tub. Short breaks are available from Friday to Monday and Monday to Friday but not in the height of the season. Farm walks are also available and the cottages have their own private courtyard and bar-be-que.
There are many local attractions to visit, historic Bury St Edmunds with its beautiful cathedral and Abbey Gardens, Cambridge, beautiful Lavenham and the Suffolk coast is not too far away. Banham Zoo, Africa Alive and a Dinasaur Park are a short drive away also for children. West Stow Anglo Saxon Village is also local
Local golf courses are about four miles away and fishing is available on the farm. Ickworth Park is local and dogs can be excercised there as well as on the farm. Should you be interested in heavy horses a course with them can be booked on request. We hope you enjoy your stay.
