The Roseland Peninsula, on the South Cornish coast, which stretches some ten miles from the delightful village of Tregony in the north-east to St Mawes at its very tip, is an area of outstanding natural beauty with superb coastal scenery and walks, a number of beaches and a general feeling of peace and tranquillity.
Tregony, although a rural village, is just a short drive from beautiful beaches and cliff top walks. Ideally placed for exploring all the wonders Cornwall has to offer. Additionally there are many miles of wonderful walks along the shores of the Fal estuary and creeks.
St Mawes is an exclusive and delightful village with a small harbour and estuary stacked with sailing vessels and wonderful pubs, cafes as well as high quality restaurants inThe Idle Rocks Hotel and the famous Hotel Tresanton.
Nearby to St Mawes and easily accessible is the acclaimed church at St Just in Roseland with its exquisite
waterside location.

Fabulous accommodation at the heart of this beautiful village and only a few short paces to the harbour and sea-front.
Barolo provides excellent all year round holiday accommodation combining comfortable living space with a quiet but convenient location in the heart of the village. Barolo is the perfect place to relax or to participate in the vibrant community that is the beautiful and friendly village of St Mawes
Barolo is a spacious apartment on the ground floor of the impressive Wentworth House and accommodates a maximum of four persons. The bedroom is extremely comfortably furnished with a wardrobe, bedside tables and a large chest of drawers to ensure sufficient storage for all your needs.
Of course all high quality bed linen, pillows and duvets are included in the weekly tariff. The bathroom is spacious and warm, and is finished in a full white suite with a mains deluge water shower over the bath. The kitchen is all electric, spacious and superbly equipped with built in appliances and an extensive range of crockery and all necessary equipment.
The dining area and lounge are designed for open plan contemporary living and are beautifully furnished to ensure a comfortable and relaxing break from the stresses of daily life. There are two leather sofas in the lounge area one of which converts to a sofa bed which is large enough to accommodate two adults. In the corner of the lounge you will find a television together with a DVD player which is also configured to play CDs.

The Bolt Hole Cottage, Tregony
Few places can compare with the Roseland Peninsula, one of the most picturesque and unspoilt parts of the British Isles. Here you will find a varied landscape of secluded coves, delightful creeks, wooded countryside, pretty fishing and rural villages, tranquil beaches, scenic cliffs and headlands.
At the head of this beautiful peninsula lies the historic village of Tregony. This ancient village, with its long main street of old Cornish cottages and houses, is perfectly placed for exploring the region's many attractions.
Overlooking sloping meadows with the River Fal running along the valley the cottage has retained its 18th century charm and is extremely spacious and beautifully maintained offering an extremely high standard of accommodation for two people. The enclosed garden enjoys a sunny position with garden furniture provided to help you relax. There is ample private parking to the front of the cottage.
The Bolt Hole is situated in a quiet backwater well away from the main road and traffic but only a short stroll from the well stocked village shop, post office, art gallery and public house serving good food and local ales.
Within easy reach of the coast The Bolt Hole is an excellent centre from which to explore the whole of Cornwall
The comfort and facilities offered by the cottage are such that The Bolt Hole has been granted ‘Four Star’ status with the English Tourist Council. This award certifies an extremely high standard of accommodation when measured against exacting criteria.
Our cottage is beautifully furnished and equipped to the highest standards with a comfortable lounge leading onto a fully fitted kitchen and cloakroom to the ground floor. On the first floor is the bedroom with double bed and separate en suite bathing, shower and toilet facilities. Across the narrow lane to the front of the cottage is the private parking area leading onto an attractive lawned garden.
