Our Suffolk Location
Famous for its brightly coloured beach huts, working lighthouse, harbour and pier Southwold is a charming North Suffolk seaside town on the Heritage Coast.
There is a delightful town with interesting architecture and a range of independent shops, galleries, restaurants and traditional public houses selling the locally brewed Adnams ales. A trip across the river Blyth by foot ferry to explore the picturesque village of Walberswick makes for a pleasant day out. Venturing further afield the delights of the Heritage Coast are all within easy reach, most notably: Aldeburgh, famous for its connections with Benjamin Britten, Snape Maltings Concert Hall and galleries set on the river Alde, Orford with its 12th century castle and oystery, Thorpeness Mere and boating lake, the RSPB nature reserve at Minsmere and a just little further South, Woodbridge, a beautiful historic market town situated on the river Deben.
