Welcome to Sea Meads, our secluded private estate overlooking Mounts Bay in Praa Sands in Cornwall. We have 6 self catering holiday cottages which can sleep between 5-8 people, and all have their own private gardens.

Our Cornwall Self Catering Accommodation

Sol-mer, Sunwave, Seahorses & Sunraker

Sol-mer, Sunwave, Seahorses and Sunraker are all well-designed modern houses which can sleep up to 6 adults and 2 children; they are sunny with attractive south facing elevations and private gardens. The interiors are well furnished, the windows are all double-glazed and all properties are laid out in the same way. On the ground floor is a spacious lounge, with large windows and a sliding patio door to the terrace. At the rear the dining area is connected to the kitchen by a serving hatch. Also on the ground floor is a twin bedded room with an en-suite bathroom and toilet, and a small room fitted with a double bunk unit. Access to the bunk room is via the downstairs twin. Upstairs are two large bedrooms, one double and one twin, and an additional bathroom with bath, separate shower and toilet. Both bedrooms have sliding patio doors opening onto a small balcony with lovely sea views.

Sandilands

Sandilands is a large single storey dwelling which sleeps up to 6 adults and can also accommodate a cot. It has a huge tastefully furnished 9 metre lounge/dining room with double doors opening on to a balcony overlooking the beach with steps down to the garden. A similar view is obtained from bedroom 1, which has an en-suite shower, toilet and twin basins. Bedroom 2 has an en-suite shower, toilet and basin and its own sun lounge overlooking the sea to the south. Both these bedrooms have king-size beds, which can be converted into singles upon request. Bedroom 3 comprises of 2 single beds adjoining a luxury bathroom. Finally the spacious accommodation is completed by a large kitchen/diner with a door to the garden. The kitchen includes a built in hob, double oven & microwave, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer.

Four Winds

Four Winds is a more traditional house of good design with all main rooms facing south and separated from the beach only by its own garden. The accommodation, which accommodates up to 5 people, offers a tastefully furnished lounge and sun lounge. There is a separate dining room with access to a fully equipped kitchen and laundry area. The large master bedroom is en-suite and has twin beds. On the first floor there are two further bedrooms with an adjoining bathroom; one bedroom has twin beds and the other a single bed.

Our Holiday Cottages Location in Cornwall

Sea Meads is a small and secluded private estate overlooking Mounts Bay situated towards the eastern end of Praa Sands in Cornwall. Facing due south and protected by rising hills to the north and east, the Estate abounds with sub-topical trees and shrubs. The mile long sandy beach of Praa Sands is a few minutes’ walk away and there are no busy roads to cross. The beach is sheltered and ideal for families with young children. The Post Office and other shops are five minutes walking distance and there are riding stables near at hand. Activities available in the area include golf, public tennis courts, cliff walks, fishing trips amongst others, and Carn Brea Leisure Centre, near Redruth, offers a swimming pool, squash, gym, restaurant & bar.
