Side Farm Camping is located in Patterdale at the southern end of Ullswater and provides an excellent base for fell walking, watersports and mountain biking. Overlooked by the Place Fell and with stunning views towards the Helvellyn range, this site is a spectacular location for exploring this beautiful area of the Lake District.
Patterdale is well served by the White Lion Pub and the Patterdale Village Store and Post Office. Just down the road is Glenridding, which also has an array of shops, pubs, and cafes.
Tea room also on site at Side Farm. No need to prebook but please arrive early in high season to secure a pitch or phone ahead.
