Spixworth Hall Cottages offer self-catering holidays throughout the year with good access to the Norfolk Broads, coast and sea. Norwich, Norfolk's beautiful cathedral city, is just five miles away.
Situated in the countryside on a 700 acre working farm, you have the freedom to roam on our private footpaths and bridleways, through bluebell woods, across the open farm and along the meadows. Here you have space to relax and unwind.
Our cottages have quality equipment and furnishings, log fires, attractive gardens, a games room and play area. Swimming, tennis and fishing are also available on the farm.
Norwich was Britain's second-largest town in medieval times and is now a bustling city. It has many historic buildings: the Norman Castle and Cathedral, the Tudor Guildhall, Dragon Hall, the Georgian Assembly House, and the Octagon Chapel to name but a few, which jostle among numerous churches.
Norfolk is a rural county bounded by the sea to the north and east and by rivers to the south and west. The Rivers Bure, Wensum, and Yare and flow through the middle and with the shallow lakes created by peat digging in medieval times make up an extensive area of waterways that form the Norfolk Broads.
