Welcome to Spring Cottages, Self catering cottages in the heart of Somerset
If you are looking for a relaxed holiday, with plenty to see and do, then Spring Cottages are just what you are looking for. Only 15 minutes walk from the spectacular Cheddar Gorge and Cheddar Caves and the same distance from the village centre. We offer three individual cottages, fitted out with everything to make your holiday as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The cities of Wells & Bath are within easy driving distance for great days out, wonderful walks on our doorsetp and great places to eat close by. Spring Cottages are a fantastic base to discover Somerset and the West Country.
Accommodation
All three cottages have double beds. The cottages are heated by night storage heaters, which have been upgraded for 2008 and heated towel rails in each bathroom. You only pay for the electricity you use (not the heating) by £1 coin meters. The water is heated by gas.
There is a large south-facing garden which is enjoyed by all our guests, just a short walk down the drive. Here you will find the summer house for your use including comfortable reclining chairs, a garden table. Sit and relax by the summer house or at the bottom of the garden in our Willow Arbour, the views of the Mendip Hills, Crook Peak and Brent Knoll are spectacular. You can just sit and enjoy the sunshine - perfect for a glass of wine at the end of the day as the sun goes down.
